DCGA Elects Its New Executive Council for 2012-13

A meeting of Delhi Cine Goers Association Members was held today at Connaught Place  in New Delhi. The outgoing president Mr Krishnendra Pratap moved a resolution to elect Ms Manika Oberoi as its new President. In the outgoing council she was a DCGA secretary.The other key post of General Secretary went to Mr. Nakul Malhotra who was asked to continue for the third term. Ms Neha Lakhotia's name was given another term as DCGA treasurer.

The newly elected president then constituted his new Executive Council including 4 Vice Presidents and 3 Secretaries. He also named five others as members. The total member of DCGA Executive Council including the special invitees is eighteen.

The Executive Council is the Apex Decision making body of DCGA which is the largest film loving fraternity in Delhi today. The complete List of DCGA Executive Council for 2012-2013 is hereby notified.

DCGA overhauls its special category and invitee list

Today the DCGA Executive Body meeting was held in New Delhi and decided to introduce new category fans in the privileged category. Fresh inclusions are as follows.

Mr Varun Malik

Ms Namrata Saha

Mr Mayank Shukla

Mr Shrey Sahni

Mr Jatin Tanwar

The DCGA committee decided to upgrade Ms Neha Adlakha and Mr Anant Sinha as special invitees in the DCGA . After this inclusion they will not be participating in the contests organized by DCGA or its partner Cyber Junkies India. Instead they will enjoy the facilities given to other DCGA invitees.

With this announcement the DCGA has three special invitees on board. They are

1- Ms Parul Mehta (Special Invitee Since July 2011)

2- Ms Neha Adlakha (New Induction)

3- Mr Anant Sinha (New Induction)

We have also upgraded Ms Chetna Malik to Diamond category.  Among other category fans we have downgraded Ms Priya Anand from Gold Category to silver, Ms Sugandha Sachdeva maintains status quo whereas Mr Piyush Anand has been removed from the special category fans.

After the above mentioned changes the new list of category fans is posted below.

Silver category fans can win only one auction in a month whereas Gold category can win twice a month.  Diamond category can win thrice a month whereas Platinum can win the auction four times a month. The only condition is the category fan has to win the auction through bidding.

With the publication of this notice we inform all the above mentioned members about the immediate implementation of the decision. 

Important Notification:Movie Discount Schemes to Categorized Fans Has Been Withdrawn

Today the DCGA Executive Body meeting was held in New Delhi and decided to withdraw "Discount Scheme" to categorised fans from the midnight of December 31, 2011. The special category Fans were provided with discounts on the movie tickets for more than a year. Now the executive body has decided to withdraw those benefits and introduce new benefits for the new year 2012. The details of newly introduced benefits will be published later through a notification.
Withdrawl of 'Discounted Scheme' does not mean that the special category has been disbanded. The category fans still exist but they will get new set of benefits as we have withdrawn the earlier ones. So keep watching this space.
