DCGA overhauls its special category and invitee list

Today the DCGA Executive Body meeting was held in New Delhi and decided to introduce new category fans in the privileged category. Fresh inclusions are as follows.

Mr Sarthak Bhatt

Mr Varun Malik

Ms Namrata Saha

Mr Mayank Shukla

Mr Shrey Sahni

Mr Jatin Tanwar

The DCGA committee decided to upgrade Ms Neha Adlakha and Mr Anant Sinha as special invitees in the DCGA . After this inclusion they will not be participating in the contests organized by DCGA or its partner Cyber Junkies India. Instead they will enjoy the facilities given to other DCGA invitees.

With this announcement the DCGA has three special invitees on board. They are

1- Ms Parul Mehta (Special Invitee Since July 2011)

2- Ms Neha Adlakha (New Induction)

3- Mr Anant Sinha (New Induction)

We have also upgraded Ms Chetna Malik to Diamond category.  Among other category fans we have downgraded Ms Priya Anand from Gold Category to silver, Ms Sugandha Sachdeva maintains status quo whereas Mr Piyush Anand has been removed from the special category fans.

After the above mentioned changes the new list of category fans is posted below.

These 8 fans will be eligible to participate in our Movie Ticket Auctions. Silver category fans can win only one auction in a month whereas Gold category can win twice a month.  Diamond category can win thrice a month whereas Platinum can win the auction four times a month. The only condition is the category fan has to win the auction through bidding.

With the publication of this notice we inform all the above mentioned members about the immediate implementation of the decision. 

Important Notification:Movie Discount Schemes to Categorized Fans Has Been Withdrawn

Today the DCGA Executive Body meeting was held in New Delhi and decided to withdraw "Discount Scheme" to categorised fans from the midnight of December 31, 2011. The special category Fans were provided with discounts on the movie tickets for more than a year. Now the executive body has decided to withdraw those benefits and introduce new benefits for the new year 2012. The details of newly introduced benefits will be published later through a notification.
Withdrawl of 'Discounted Scheme' does not mean that the special category has been disbanded. The category fans still exist but they will get new set of benefits as we have withdrawn the earlier ones. So keep watching this space.

Notification: Show Cause Notice to Ms Avika Sen

Friends the Ethics and Rules committee has issued a show cause notice to DCGA Fan Ms Avika Sen who participated in a 'Hollywood District' bidding. She made a bid which was above the ticket price She placed her bid at Rs 503 when others were bidding around 200. We immeditaley closed 2 tickets on her name. Although we continued the bidding for others but she was notified as the winner on Hollywood District page. She was asked to send her contact details so that the show could be arranged for her. She failed to comply and did not even contact us after making a successful bid. To maintain the seriousness of bidding process and keep any fake bids at bay a committee decided to issue a show cause notice to Ms Avika Sen. If she fails to respond to this notice till Saturday, September 24, 2011 we will be forced to debar her from participating in any contest or bidding organized either by us or our sponsors Cyber Junkies India.
