Parul Mehta wins ‘Fan of the Year 2010-11’ title, gets entry into DCGA panel

In a nail biting finish last night in Delhi, Ms Parul Mehta won the title of ‘DCGA Fan of the Year 2010-11 by defeating the nearest contender Mr Anant Sinha. It was a closely contested battle between them which was won at the last moment by Ms Mehta. With this victory she become the first ever winner of this title.

Ms Parul Mehta joined the DCGA as an active fan last year in August- September when we had organized a contest for the movie ‘Anajana Anjaani’. Since then she is very much active on DCGA page.

Equipped with a battery of friends and well wishers who help her with their active support and encouragement Ms Mehta has successfully scaled all the levels which DCGA has to offer to any active Fan. Currently she is a Platinum Cine Goer (PCG) which means she gets two free tickets every month of any movie of her choice.

Now after this win DCGA has decided to  give her entry into its own panel as a special invitee which means from today onwards she is no more a fan of DCGA but an honourable member of DCGA.

Two new fans gets entry in special category, Anant upgraded to Platinum

A review meeting of DCGA top officials was held in New Delhi today where  a resoultion was moved to include Ms Chetna Malik and Ms Priya Anand as Silver Cine Goer (SCG) category. As SCG members they can ask for 20 percent discount on two movie tickets every month. They will get free entry to all events organized by the DCGA.

DCGA has also adopted a resolution to upgrade the existing Diamond Cine Goer (DCG) Mr Anant Sinha to Platinum category. The DCGA body also appreciated Mr Anant Sinha's stupendous effort while participating in the 'DCGA FAN of the Year 2010-11' contest.

DCGA Elects Its New Executive Council for 2011-12

Friends a meeting of Delhi Cine Goers Association Members was held today in Connaught Place ( New Delhi). The outgoing president Mr Amarendra Tiwari moved a resolution to elect Mr Krishnendra Pratap as its new President. The other key post of General Secretary went to Mr. Nakul Malhotra who was asked to continue the good wrok which he did during his 2010-11 tenure. Ms Neha Lakhotia's name was propsed for the post of treasurer.
The newly elected president then constituted his new Executive Council which included 4 Vice Presidents and 3 Secteraties. He also named five others as members. The total member of DCGA Executive Council including the special invitees is seventeen.
The Executive Council is the Apex Decision making body of DCGA which is the largest film loving fraternity in Delhi today. For the first time we also recognise our FACEBOOK special category fans by issuing a notification of this effect. The complete List of DCGA Executive Council for 2011-2012 is hereby notified.
